Compiling databases,

I spent the last week combiling "The Big Book of Incorporated in 1908." Towns and cities edition.

It's just online research for towns and cities incorporated in 1908. Simple, huh? Tried to get the address, contact name, and phone number for as many as possible. Made a 4 inch binder bulge, so I must have done okay.

I'm going to do a little more polish work on it today and then start on "The Big Book of Founded in 1908." Should be exciting.

GSA

I'm just plugging away at entering items into the next evolution of the GSA Catalogue.

It takes about 12 minutes an item. I have 156 entered as of this morning. But now I have to go back and paste in a &cid=107 onto each individual entry (on the see product webpage).

GSA

The SIP upload got bounced, seems there was a change issued in 2004, so more paperwork.

I put in an artwork request this morning for a Citizen coin. We'll see where it goes.

Mostly just doing random searches for coin worthy events today. Waiting for Gene to get me the last piece of info I need for the SIP.

Friday

I received my first request for a price quote today. That's cool.

I'm tired. Lack of sleep, lots of work to do, lots of work to do this weekend. Bleh!

Internet Woes

The computers were soooo slow yesterday, it just didn't seem like I was getting anything done.

But, the first SIP catalog has been uploaded, so next week we should be good.

Today, I'm trying to get ahold of RDA (friend with consulting business).

Michael is out of town until tomorrow.

Today - to do - ta da!

I was over at http://zenpundit.blogspot.com/. I like the way he thinks.

Work: I'm trying to figure out how to save a .doc file into the SIP7 program. Which isn't as easy as it sounds for dyslexic non-programmer me.

Right now Reed is taking photos of some new custom knives for archive. They are sweet. I like things with sharp edges. These are in the same style as our store knives: http://www.nwtmint.com/store/index.php?mod=product&id_prd=488

Once I figure out the .doc file..... Then I am FINALLY ready to upload our new GSA catalog.!

GSA

Just emailed the signed mod letter back to Jennifer (our awesome GSA Contract Specialist). Should be good.
Hubby is downstairs, he will be traveling on Thursday and Friday, something about the boy scout knife project. Our BSA sales person has the desk next to me, makes calls all day long. I really like the coins (rank advancement coins).

Whoo Hooo!
